January Newsletter

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make 2017 a very successful year for  Building Bridges Hand In Hand. Thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, we were able to continue helping members of our community and surrounding areas. We were able to continue our partnership with Rare Breed and Great Circle. We were able to add partnerships with Laura’s Home, R12 B.A.S.E project as well Project Dreamweaver. We now have our own website BBHIH.org, which helps volunteers stay better organized and up to date with upcoming and past events/projects. Fox5 featured Building Bridges Hand In Hand in a couple evening news spots which not only spread the word about our WONDERFUL organization but also brought in more volunteers and spread awareness about the need in our community.

As busy as 2017 was, we are already planning for an even busier and more eventful 2018! As we start confirming dates and times for projects and events we will continue sending out our monthly newsletters. You can also go to BBHIH.org and click under “events”. We will be adding events/projects as we get them confirmed. There will also be the “sign-up” form where you can sign up to volunteer or donate to specific events.

Building Bridges Hand In Hand will be continuing our monthly Rare Breed downtown young adults dinner. These dinners will be the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month. They will be at Rare Breed located at 301 N. Main in Springfield, Missouri. Set up volunteers will need to arrive by 4:30pm  and serving volunteers will need to arrive at 5:30pm.  The theme for February will be Pot-Pies. To volunteer or help donate, please go to https://bbhih.org and click events. Under February, click on the date and that will take you to the sign up sheet. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL OF OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS!!! Without you, we would not have been able to have such a successful and meaningful year. WE ARE READY TO TAKE ON 2O18!!!!!!!!!
